Antique Etruscan Majolica Cake Stand Pedestal Platter

Antique Etruscan Majolica cake stand. Cic. 1880’s. This charming & beautiful piece comes with the previous owner’s note. It reads “Grandma Winkler always made a yellow cake with coconut frosting for Lester’s birthday & used this plate” Just so sweet! What an heirloom piece and why not continue on this cake stand’s tradition of serving birthday cake on it? There is a surface chippy (not seen from undneath) & a line or mark that appears to be from the initial making of the cake stand since you cannot feel the line- it is not a crack. Looks more like glaze. See pics please. Pinks, yellow, greens and browns on the maple leaf motif with the base impersonating a tree trunk. It is so darling. Comps for a lot higher.  5″ H x 9″ W
