Stunning midcentury Murano glass hinged cylinder casket box. It is referred to as Murano Aventurine due to the hand blown clear glass box being heavily decorated with brown glass frit and copper aventurine flecks, giving it a tortoiseshell appearance. Gorgeous! It sparkles beautifully in the sunlight. The center focal on the band shows some wear to the brass. This is a heavy box and the lid should be supported to not stress the hinge.
