Vintage, possibly antique, very sweet ring or jewelry casket/box in a French style by Weidlich & Bros. Gold tone on metal box (not sure if it's brass, bronze or cast metal). It has some weight to it. Three cherub cameo on top. Lovely motifs (even a fleur de lis) and the sweetest floral fabric inside with cushion still intact! Hinge works well and still tight.
Measures 3.5" L x 2 1/4" H x 3" D Originally I thought this was made in France, however finding the makers mark I found out it was a 19th century company from Connecticut.
