If you love the artist Alphonse Mucha and the art nouveau style, then these are for you. They appear to be hand carved, wooden bookends, marked on the bottom. The date may read 1910 but I am not certain. 1910 does work for the art nouveau period. Gorgeous basket weave details, florals, and an art nouveau maidens gracing each of the bookends. These have a carved name 'Karl' on one side. They are strong still but one end piece does lie at an angle. 14" x 5.5"
